New Mitas row crop range to replace Continental brand products
During the course of 2011 the CGS Group will introduce a new Mitas branded range of tyres for use in row-crop agriculture into its global markets. This Mitas range will replace the existing Continental brand row crop tyres that Mitas has been producing under licence since 2004.
“Mitas brings premium quality to the row-crop tyre market, which is often neglected by major tyre brands,” said Andrew Mabin, marketing and sales director of CGS Tyres. “Initially, Mitas will offer 12 tyre sizes to meet farmers’ needs in row-crop agriculture.” By mid-2011, Mitas will begin producing this dozen-strong range, which includes four all-new sizes: 270/95 R32, 300/95 R46, 320/90 R50 and 320/90 R54. The line-up on offer, says CGS, reflects the specific needs of European and North American farmers. The new sizes will be available by September 2011.
