Maxxis launches dealer POS initiative
Maxxis International is boosting support for its retailer network through a new initiative designed to help them showcase key products within the Maxxis range. Qualifying retailers – all Maxxis Centres of Excellence plus nominated businesses that exceed their sales targets – will be provided with a new illuminated ‘Grafikpod’ display unit, which will enable them to put different market segments under the spotlight.
Measuring 2 metres x 0.5 metre, the floor-standing display unit promotes key products as ‘manager’s choice’. The high performance tyre version highlights the MA-P1, M36, MA-Z4S and the MA-Z1 products while other Grafikpods promote Maxxis 4×4, standard motorcycle, off-road motorcycle and ATV tyres. Retailers can choose the product combination, opting for UHP and 4×4 tyres or 4×4 tyres on both sides, for example. Featuring the Maxxis orange and black livery, each unit will be displayed in a prominent position in the retailer’s reception area or shop and is fully illuminated for maximum effect. Maxxis is also looking to develop an A4 size desktop version for use on counters and coffee tables.
“We are in regular discussion with the top-performing Maxxis retailers about ways in which we can support their efforts to market the brand and reward their hard work, and have developed the Grafikpod display system after listening to their views on in-store merchandising,” said Maxxis International UK managing director Derek McMartin. “The feedback to date has been extremely positive because the visual quality of the unit is so good. When retailers come to discuss a customer’s options, the illuminated display will act as a conversation starter, helping them convey the benefits of a house brand and why they have chosen Maxxis.”
