HiQ Stafford relaunches following £100,000 investment
HiQ has announced the relaunch of its Stafford centre after a radical £100,000 transformation. HiQ Stafford on Foregate Street has undergone an extensive refurbishment, with new branding, a new customer friendly environment and a fully automated MOT test lane. The centre will officially relaunch with a trio of open days on 10-12 February. HiQ’s retail director Peter Tye said: “HiQ Stafford really is a model of excellence for many other centres to follow, in terms of its new appearance and standards both inside the store and on the forecourt. It has been brought in line with our award winning corporate identity, which all of our centres will boast by the end of 2011.”
Centre manager Jim Turner – who has worked for many years in the automotive sector in Stafford – and his team will also provide free tyre checks and tips to all motorists over the weekend. Refreshments will be available for visitors along with various tyre discounts and Chris Kisby, managing director of franchisee and owner of HiQ Stafford and 23 other Midlands branches, Easy Autocentres, will officially cut the red ribbon with HiQ retail director Peter Tye on Thursday, 10 February. In addition, £1 from every invoice raised during the days will go to Breast Cancer Care, HiQ’s chosen charity for 2011. A free prize draw and a chance to meet HiQ’s “pink ladies” will also be arranged as part of the festivities.
Turner said: “We hope to see continued improvement in a number of areas now the refurbishment has taken place, from business figures, through to customer feedback. We felt that it was vitally important to officially open the centre with some events to remember and we are looking forward to seeing as many people as possible.”
