Haweka to exhibit at April’s CV show
Haweka UK, a leading independent manufacturer of wheel balancing accessories and commercial vehicle alignment equipment, is to show its range at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham this April.
According to the company, the Haweka stand will showcase the firm’s complete range of commercial vehicle alignment equipment including the all-new Axis 4000. This fully computerised system can now include a complete data set of truck wheel alignment settings to enable real time comparison of actual readings against manufacturers specifications. The greatest advantage of the Haweka range is speed. There is no other wheel alignment machine that allows the operator to measure a two-axle semi-trailer tractor in 10 minutes. The Haweka range is able to do this thanks to its patented wheel clamps, which are attached to the wheel rim by means of powerful magnetic feet (with additional grab arms for aluminium rims) and the measurement can begin immediately. These unique clamps are used on all Haweka aligners.
John Pullin of Haweka UK said: “In today’s tough economic climate the importance of correct vehicle alignment cannot be over emphasised. The equipment makes it possible for the commercial vehicle owner/operator to easily and quickly unlock the savings available from reduced fuel consumption and tyre ware. A one degree misalignment on one axle could increase fuel consumption by around 5 per cent. Vehicle operators are very much aware of the importance of alignment and more and more tyre dealers are investing in commercial alignment equipment as it provides an additional high revenue stream.”
Haweka UK will be on stand number 4K50 at the CV Show.
