Cam Systems appoints Strategic Client Manager
Colin Meikle has been appointed by Cam Systems as strategic client manager. He will be responsible for developing major client initiatives to maximise service and efficiency benefits for customers and drive innovation into the tyre industry.
With over 13 years’ experience in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) consulting, Meikle has been instrumental in implementing SAP and Microsoft Dynamics business solutions in retail and wholesale sectors.
Formerly consulting director for Diagonal Consulting and Tectura UK, where he led teams of up to 150 project managers, consultants and developers, Meikle has directed global ERP programmes, achieving several world firsts in these roles. These included global SAP retail implementation at The Body Shop, developing a SAP Direct RF (Radio Frequency) warehouse solution at Macaw Soft Drinks and providing a Microsoft Dynamics solution to process in excess of 100,000 line items per hour.
Prior to his consultancy career, Meikle worked in financial and commercial management roles for 12 years and a further five years with international accountancy partnership Price Waterhouse Coopers.
