Autodata doubles headquarters
Autodata, a leading provider of technical information to the motor trade recently doubled the size of its Maidenhead headquarters. The expansion plan included the relocation of the firm’s warehousing facilities and a complete refurbishing of its offices and reception area. The expansion represents an investment of some £2 million.
In addition to growth in the UK, Autodata reports that it continues to expand in European markets and elsewhere in the world including America and Australia. Development of the Autodata product range has included a considerable enhancement of the information available online, which is increasingly superseding the traditional hard copy manuals and CD’s.
“We are making an important commitment with our expansion in the UK”, said Autodata managing director, Tony Swiatek. “In addition to enhancing our ability to respond to the market and create products that are relevant, valuable and which improve the profit potential for our customers, we have been able to enhance the working conditions and experience for our 150 staff members in the Maidenhead branch, including the creation of a very well equipped gymnasium.”
