Staffordshire tyre retailer makes regional business award final

Approaching its first birthday, Stoke-on-Trent tyre retailer For Tyres has been chosen as one of three finalists for the Sentinel Business Awards in the Start-up Business of the Year category. The winner will be announced at the awards presentation dinner on 29 March, one of the county’s most prestigious business events of the year.

Directors Anthony Rogers and Kevin Ecclestone told Tyres & Accessories they believed For Tyres’ selection as a finalist is primarily due to “the high levels of customer service and satisfaction achieved during For Tyres first year.” For Tyres says it aims to “rival the quality standards of national chains at the low prices usually associated with the independent back street tyre garage.”

“The customer experience is central to what For Tyres offers,” continued Ecclestone. “The ease of access direct from the A52 onto a large forecourt car park even accommodates caravans towed by the largest 4×4 or van. The comfortable waiting room has viewing into the workshop, and free spring water or hot drinks. The quality of advice available from the friendly owners is drawn from over 50 years experience gained with the major players in the tyre sector.”
