Soopa Toobs Adapting Range for Increasingly Varied Ag Vehicle Inventories

Hertfordshire’s Soopa Toobs says it has continued to develop and expand its range of quality inner tubes to suit the increasing variety of radial and low-profile agricultural and implement tyres on the market, particularly with many farmers, estate managers and groundsmen using utility vehicles and ATVs to get around, increasing vehicle inventory. Company representative Martin Mansfield says demands continue to change while the increased longevity of machinery used means that there is an opportunity for suppliers able to provide a wide range of sizes and applications.

Soopa Toobs’s private brand Swift inner tubes have been on the UK market for over a quarter of a century and the wholesaler says they have developed a reputation for quality in its extensive range, the “largest on offer in the UK”, according to Mansfield. The range covers all applications for wheel sizes from 3” to 48” and includes tubes for classic and modern high-power tractors. Mansfield says the range of inner tubes to suit rowcrop applications will continue to evolve in 2011.

In addition to its inner tube range, Mansfield says large stocks of quality tyres from brands including Carlisle, Trelleborg, Bridgestone, Mitas, Goodyear and Dunlop enable the company to offer the right tyre for the customer’s requirement. The company is a UK agent for the American manufacturer Carlisle, which produces speciality agricultural, ATV and groundscare tyres. The company’s rugged ATV and utility vehicle tyres serve farmers and off-road riders, offering improved cut and impact resistance alongside good traction and ride, according to Mansfield. Soopa Toobs offers almost the entire range of Carlisle product from stock and can offer application advice if required.

Soopa Toobs is also a UK agent for the Trelleborg range of farm, implement and grasscare tyres. Trelleborg industrial, agricultural, agro-industrial and implement tyres are all held in stock ready for rapid dispatch. The full range of crossply and radial tractor tyres is also available. Mansfield also singles out Duro and Kings as “important brands for Soopa Toobs”, as they offer cost-effective tyres with consistent quality for use on implements and smaller agricultural and horticultural machinery as well as road trailers, mowers, barrows and ATVs.
