Snap-on Equipment updates wheel alignment guide
Snap-on Equipment has introduced an updated version of its popular wheel alignment guide. The guide aims to simplify the complex subject of wheel alignment, aiming to put jargon, such as “toe-in” and “toe-out” into plain English and introducing the latest alignment technology with detailed information and illustrations.
A number of topics are covered, including pre-alignment checks, types of alignment technology, adjustment methods and workshop bay layout requirements.
Chris Behan, general manager, Snap-on Equipment, comments: “There’s no doubt that more sophisticated chassis technology, combined with the growing risk of damage from potholes, has made the importance of correct wheel alignment even more significant.
“Wheel alignment is a complex subject and the technology to diagnose and repair problems has accelerated in recent years with full 3D measurement systems, such as the John Bean V3D Lite, representing a step change above the more familiar laser-based systems. I hope our handy new guide simplifies some of the complexity.”
