Marangoni North America expands supplies and accessories line

Marangoni Tread North America has added Presti, AmerSeal, and Counteract products to its supplies and accessory line, which includes envelopes, sealing rings, cushion gum, envelope lube, J-hooks, tire paint and buffing blades, reports Tire Review. MTNA is also adding new Gaither Tool selections to support fleet tyre maintenance needs with a variety of environmentally-friendly product options.

The newly re-engineered selection of Presti envelopes promote a higher quality curing envelope that allows for extra durability, a light weight design and increased elasticity for a better tire fit, resulting in lower costs for retreaders, MTNA said.

The company added that AmerSeal extends the retreading ability of tyre casings, seals tread area punctures up to one-fourth inch in diameter, reduces equipment downtime, resists rust and corrosion, does not void manufactures’ tyre warranties and meets EPA standards for disposal by a large number of sewage systems.

MTNA has partnered with Counteract to offer fleets an economical tyre balancing solution. Counteract Balancing Beads balance the entire wheel assembly for the lifetime of the tyre, improve fuel economy, increase tyre life, reduce vibration and are fully recyclable, according to the company.

MTNA said it plans to more than double its Ringtread manufacturing capacity in Madison, Tennessee, and vastly extend its line up of fuel efficient tread designs in 2011.
