Local MP Unveils Upgraded Crewe HiQ Centre
On January 10 the new facilities at HiQ Crewe were officially unveiled by local MP Edward Timpson. The fast fit network states that following its upgrade the Nantwich road centre is now able to boast a full provision of automotive services for motorists; facilities installed as part of a £100,000 investment by owners Andy Bucknall and Ken Lawton include an ATL class 4 MOT bay. The facility has been extended to accommodate two extra bays and motorists are now able to observe their vehicles’ treatment from a new customer lounge.
“We think that this investment represents a significant business story here in Crewe, as we underline our commitment to motorists across the town,” said Bucknall. “In addition, we have taken on new members of staff in the last two months, as we enjoy an increase in footfall and overall sales.”
Referring to the new facilities, Bucknall added: “We will be able to let people see exactly what is happening to their cars for the duration of their MOT tests, while providing them with coffee and plasma screen news channels in between.” HiQ notes that the Crewe centre, operated under licence by South Cheshire Tyre & Exhaust Ltd., is fully equipped to offer a complete range of automotive services including stocking a full range of tyres, exhausts, brakes, shocks, wheel alignment and clutches.
