Centurion Avon Tyres to Exhibit at Birmingham’s Motorcycle Expo
Avon Tyres has announced it will formally open its promotional activities for the motorcycling season at the Motorcycle Trade Expo (23-25 January) at Birmingham’s NEC. The company will be on Stand 530 with its logo to mark 100 years of motorcycle tyre production prominently displayed. Throughout the three-day event Avon Tyres’ staff will be on hand to discuss the 2011 motorcycle range, hand out the new 2011 Data Book and Fitment Guide and speak to dealers and the trade about some changes to the existing range.
On the stand will be the Avon Tyres Centenary celebration machine: a classy black and gold Yamaha YZF-R6 with a series of stunning additions to its standard specifications, which include an EK gold chain and sprocket set, Pazzo brake and clutch levers in gold, a MIVV titanium and carbon exhaust and a set of the latest Avon VP2 Supersport tyres.
Avon’s latest range of road tyres includes the Roadrider, which last year won a ‘Certificate of Merit’ at the British Dealer News Industry Awards, and the Storm 2 Ultra, which Avon says is “a firm favourite with all-weather bikers”. Avon says the Trade Expo is the start of a wide-ranging series of events coming up in 2011 to celebrate its centenary; its upcoming events are to be listed on the company’s website.
