Supertracker Increases Value in Plimsoll Report
Wheel alignment equipment specialists Supertracker has been named one of the 62 UK companies within the UK Garage Equipment industry whose business has increased in value in a recently released Plimsoll Report, helping to boost the firm’s corporate trading image. The new valuation report and is based on the company's annual sales achievements during 2010. The report confirms that Supertracker is currently worth more than it was two years ago.
Trevor Lovesy, Supertracker’s managing director says: “Obviously we are absolutely delighted by this positive endorsement of the company which perfectly underlines the dedication to absolute quality in both our equipment and service facilities from all our staff.” This special Valuation edition of the Plimsoll Report evaluates 190 companies and states that 68 businesses have seen a significant decrease in value with 48 considered to possibly be in financial difficulty. The report also listed 65 companies that it considers to have a high acquisition rating.
Supertracker had a prominent presence at Brityrex this year, displaying a selected example of their extensive range of wheel aligners. Although no new wheel aligners were being introduced at the event, Supertracker’s new steering angle reset tool, developed to further enhance the use of steering angle sensors on today’s vehicles, was making its UK debut.
Lovesy points out that the show was yet another valuable opportunity to maintain and enhance the company continuous promotion of the brand. Visitors to the Supertracker stand were offered information about the various training facilities on offer, including monthly training sessions available either at the company’s tuition academy within its Southampton headquarters or at companies’ own premises.
Lovesy said that while he felt the overall attendance was not as high as he would have expected, the event had yielded plenty in terms of quality enquiries. He added: “in my opinion the organisers carried out an impressive job in promoting the event and many companies made the effort and commitment to exhibit but unfortunately the general tyre industry has not fully supported Brityrex.
“The industry needs these kinds of exhibitions so potential customers can come along and actually see and touch equipment, ask questions before purchasing products.”
