Shandong Province Honours Pirelli Asia Pacific CEO

Every year China’s Shandong Province honours foreigners that add to the region’s social, economic and educational progress with its ‘Qilu Friendship Award’. This year the Shandong Province government has presented the Qilu Friendship Award to 18 foreign professionals and experts in recognition of their contribution. Included within this exclusive group is Pirelli Asia Pacific CEO Giuseppe Cattaneo.

Accepting his award, Cattaneo stated “I feel extremely honoured and excited to receive this award. I would like to extend my appreciation to the care and support from the leaders at all levels in Shandong Province, Jining and Yanzhou. I believe all the award winners share similar feelings. And I would like to take this chance to say thanks to all Pirelli China employers for their great job.” Cattaneo added that winning the Qilu Friendship Award is something that means a lot to him and he assured that he “will continue to contribute to the development of Shandong.”
