Sailun Appoints New Truck Tyre Distributors

Sailun Tyres has begun to appoint new distributors for the company’s truck tyre range as part of the firm’s new European distribution strategy. The Sailun team, led by Martin West, report that they have recently received substantial orders from two European distributors – Intergomma in Italy and Grupo Soledad in Spain. Presenting the Sailun philosophy of “quality and technology”, West has been stressing that Sailun is pitched at the top end of the premium economy tyre sector.

“We have an excellent product and we want excellent ambassadors and partners across the whole of Europe. There are specific truck tyre distributors we are engaging with at the moment – we will only consider experts and we will only consider those distributors who are going to support the Sailun brand in the long term. We are absolutely delighted to enter into a commercial partnership with both Intergomma and Grupo Soledad – these are just the type of companies we want to be dealing with and who we want the Sailun brand to be associated with,” Martin West commented.

Intergomma’s Simona Falorni commented: “We are delighted to be adding Sailun to our tyre portfolio.  We specialise in truck tyres and Sailun represents an additional bonus brand for our customers. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Sailun and to representing Sailun across the whole of Italy.”

Pedro Antonio Perez from Grupo Soledad, added: “Martin recently visited us at our head office near Alicante and we were immediately impressed with the Sailun truck tyre portfolio. We placed an order with Martin the following day. The product quality looks very good, and the value appears to be exceptional – this is something we are determined to pass on to our retail and dealer partners.”

Currently Sailun is concentrating its recruitment drive on the truck tyre portfolio as the passenger car tyre distributorship for Europe remains at present with the incumbents, Deldo.
