ATS Euromaster Launches Payment Card
ATS Euromaster has launched a new payment card named ‘ATS Assist’, offering a single payment option for all motoring needs, regardless of vehicle type, covering drivers for everything from tyres to fuel and windscreen replacement to vehicle rental. Individual cards available for every car, van, truck and trailer. A single weekly or monthly invoice is sent to managers detailing all transactions, vehicle by vehicle, eliminating the need for drivers to collect receipts and claim expenses, thus reducing administration. The collective online information also provides a clear fleet cost analysis, enabling businesses to identify purchasing trends and potential cost savings more readily.
The card is available in two tiers: Silver and Gold. Silver membership is free and can be used across ATS Euromaster’s nationwide network for batteries, brakes, exhausts, fault diagnostics, MOTs, oil changes, shocks and tyres. For commercial vehicle operators this includes access to ATS Euromaster’s unrivalled 24/7 roadside rapid response service for tyre-related breakdowns.
Gold membership can also be used to pay for fuel, breakdown recovery with The AA, windscreen replacement and car or van rental. The Gold card is accepted at the leading AllStar garage network which includes low cost supermarket fuel stations and ensures companies pay forecourt petrol or diesel prices. The consolidated invoice is HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) compliant, enabling businesses to claim back 100 per cent of the VAT.
Any combination of Silver and Gold cards can be issued to a customer, ensuring complete flexibility for fleet managers in deciding which services staff can access.
Peter Fairlie, Group Sales director of ATS Euromaster, says: “The ATS ASSIST card offers an easier way of doing business. As well as representing a huge reduction in admin costs, the single invoice allows managers to better understand what type of fuel is being bought and where, which can prompt significant savings. Drivers can be encouraged to visit low-cost sites, not to buy premium grade fuel and to avoid filling-up on motorways, with the ability for managers to monitor all purchases.
“Van fleets using the payment card can also take advantage of the fact that, unlike many other fast-fit networks, 98 per cent of our centres can accommodate high-roof or long-wheelbase vans. Plus with ATS Euromaster, van operators enjoy access to the same roadside rapid response service as our heavy truck customers – supported by the largest mobile tyre fitting resource in the industry.”
The ATS ASSIST card is offered in partnership with AllStar Business Solutions. It differs from a credit card as outstanding payments must be made in full – however it has one of the most generous payment terms of all such cards of up to 35 days.
