Alba Diagnostics Appoints New Sales Manager

Glenrothes based Alba Diagnostics Ltd, purportedly the manufacturer of the world’s “number one brake fluid tester” has appointed Gavin Wheeler as its new UK sales manager. With experience in the motor trade, Wheeler has both a mechanical background, linked with what his new employer called “a first-class track record” in sales.

“I’m aiming to increase knowledge of the added value associated with brake fluid testing along with increasing sales of the vast array of products currently supplied by Alba,” wheeler commented: “With a background in the motor trade, I am fully aware of the increasing need to maximise service revenue, and I’m confident that Alba have the range of products to help achieve that.”

Alba has a growing number of distributors across the UK and is said to be “constantly looking to expand” its UK operation. Managing director Stewart Whitton explained: “We’re known worldwide for our brake fluid tester. Many customers don’t yet know that we offer a comprehensive range of garage equipment at very competitive prices. Gavin’s task is to introduce our ever-growing range, and the additional services we can supply such as small batch own-branding, equipment program management & product sourcing.
