TecDoc Releases Web Catalog 2.0 VRM Software
Software house TecDoc has released the 2.0 version of its Web Catalog parts identification portal. According to the company the latest version provides VRM users with the full vehicle details with “all of the back-up and usability of the ‘classic’ version, but with some distinct benefits when interrogating the data, which makes searching for the correct part easier and quicker.”
Shaun Greasley, commercial director for TecDoc UK and Eire said: “The great news for existing users is that they can get all the benefits of the update from Classic to 2.0 for free. In addition, those using the VRM search tool will also notice an improvement as supplier partner HPI has invested considerable time and effort to achieve the highest possible level of accuracy. When it comes to practical functionality, the number plate and article direct search facility is now on the vehicle selection page, which results in less ‘clicks’ to select a part.”
Allied to these developments, TecDoc also reported that the number of suppliers that have their parts information listed on TecDoc is now more than 380, giving users greater choice and more options.
