PCL: ‘Nitrogen Is The Future Of Tyre Inflation’
PCL has reported that exchanging Nitrogen for Air is set to be the biggest growth area for tyre inflation, according to feedback from visitors to Brityrex 2010. According to the company, N2 inflation was the talk of the show, with “huge interest” in PCL’s Nitrogen range, and tyreshop managers impressed with product features such as the in-built inflator’s ‘purge’ function – which competitors apparently can’t match.
Visitors were reportedly drawn to PCL’s brand new Qube, a highly advanced product which is cost-effective and tiny yet speedy. The mini inflator also won rave reviews from industry experts from the UK and abroad. Space-saving and versatile, the Qube can be bolted to tyre changers, making it a big asset for little workshops.
Brityrex also saw the launch of its new range of Mini Tools and Socket Sets. There are currently 4 (soon to be 7) tools in the Mini Tools range and these little essentials have taken the industry by storm, with unprecedented demand due their size, weight and versatility of movement for the operator. The new PCL-branded Socket Sets were equally well received – each has its size clearly printed on it, and all 7 sets are supplied in hard wearing plastic or steel cases for protection and easy storage.
