US Garage Supplier Introduces Tyre Inflation Programme
US Myers Tire Supply is offering a new Tire Inflation Maintenance (TIM) customer retention programme designed for tyre dealers and their customers, reports Tire Review. TIM is a US initiative “dedicated to improving safety and the environment through the promotion of regular tire inflation maintenance,” the company said.
As part of the programme, TIM sends monthly customizable newsletters and text messages that encourage customers to return to the shop to have the tyre pressure checked. Online customer management tools allow dealers to view and sort customer information by vehicle year, make or model; tyre size and brand; and many other options. The TIM programme gives the dealer access to daily reports of customers due for service that day or in the future.
Enrollment in the programme includes the initial set-up, online training, a website listing, a marketing kit, 50 registration cards and unlimited staff training and support. The programme also has a free consumer aspect, offering members 24/7 towing and roadside assistance, free routing service, free trip interruption coverage and more.
