MAM Encourages Customers To 'Go Green'
MAM Software has embarked on a new push to promote paperless invoices, credits and statements, reminding its customers that they can "go green" by signing up to receive paperless accounts correspondence. Customers have the option of cutting paperwork by receiving electronic versions of invoices, credit notes and statements directly into their e-mail inbox. The documents, which are sent in Acrobat PDF format as e-mail attachments, are formatted just like their printed counterparts and can be easily read on screen.
“We are reminding our customers that they can help support a greener environment by opting to receive their accounts correspondence electronically” said Gareth Flower, Marketing Manager at MAM Software. “For the last five years, we have been introducing new initiatives to lessen our reliance on paper documents, create less waste and reduce our carbon footprint. We already send electronic correspondence to over 1,100 customer accounts and have made a significant reduction in our carbon emissions – and we hope to increase this further.
“Going paperless clearly has a direct, positive effect on the environment, but there are distinct benefits for our customers, too. Our electronic documents take less time to arrive, are fully searchable and can be easily filed for future reference. MAM users can also reduce their own carbon footprint by sending their own correspondence electronically.
“Users of our latest management solutions also have the option of sending documents electronically” Gareth Flower continued. “As well as lowering their environmental overheads, it saves our customers time and money too.”
