Double Conquest For Bridgestone Tyres
Recently-recruited Bridgestone Midlands area sales manager, Darren Hill, recently won two new accounts to the company. Freelance Haulage, based in Boughton, Nottinghamshire – is a specialist haulage and transport company running 10 vehicles and 20 trailers- has changed to new Bridgestone product, via local Bridgestone Truckpoint dealer Tanvic Tyres. Chris Porter, Freelance’s managing director, gave the reason for the change as “the anticipated longevity of the Bridgestone product, coupled with excellent value for money.”
In the same week, Sheffield-based Quickmission – a logistics and refrigerated transport company working in both the UK and mainland Europe, with a fleet of 13 tractor units and 10 trailers – also signed up with Bridgestone for new tyre supply via local Bridgestone Truckpoint dealer, Dexel. Quickmission’s MD, Andrew Ellis, said: “For our European longhaul work, I believe Bridgestone will give us longer tyre life. The Bridgestone policy will also make for the easier management and administration of our truck and trailer tyres.”
