ViaMichelin Hotel Reservation iPhone Application Released

ViaMichelin has announced the release of a new application that enables iPhone users to check real-time room availability and make hotel reservations directly from their handsets. The application was developed in conjunction with HRS (Hotel Reservation Service), a European leader in online hotel booking.

The new application is, like the company’s previous Traffic app, free to download and available in five languages (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish). It allows the user access to hotel descriptions, photo galleries, prices and user reviews and comments; listings for more than 250,000 hotels worldwide with all Michelin guide selected hotels clearly identified; “Geolocation”, enabling users to search for their nearest hotels; a no obligation reservation service (no bank or credit card details required); and an option to cancel reservations with no cancellation fees up to the scheduled day of arrival.

The ViaMichelin Hotels app is available to download from your PC via iTunes or directly from your iPhone or iPod Touch. Other ViaMichelin apps for iPhone include: Michelin guide restaurants Great Britain & Ireland (£5.99) and ViaMichelin Traffic (Free)
