Eurotire Romania Achieves ISO9001-2008

Eurotire’s Romania manufacturing facility and its employees recently achieved ISO9001-2008 certification. The challenge of achieving ISO certification was heightened by the fact that the Romania facility is new and this was the first attempt at ISO certification there. Simtex-OC, the first private Romanian certification company to receive international accreditation to audit for the ISO9001-2008 Quality Management System, performed the audit.

Gabriela Dobrota, general director of the Romania facility, announced the results: “I am very pleased to announce that the ISO audit was a success! I want to express my gratitude to all departments, every employee for their hard work, long hours and white nights at the office that made this audit a success. The satisfaction is even greater because the Simtex-OC audit team found no nonconformities.”

According to the company, achievement of ISO9001-2008 at the Romania facility further confirms Eurotire’s commitment to providing high quality OTR tyre products and “world class service and support to its emerging mining markets customers around the world.”
