Maxxis Rewards Retailers with Vouchers
Following the second Maxxis Rewards quarterly prize draw of 2010, 13 tyre retailers have each won either M&S or High Street vouchers to the value of £250. All Tyres Fitted, Craven Arms Tyre Services, Easy Car Care, Farmer Autocare, George Fegan Tyres, JR Motors Ltd, NL Autos, Northwich Tyre and Autocare, Quick Fix, Roper’s Farnborough Ltd, Sutton Service Centre Ltd, W W Wheels & Tyres and G Williamson (Garages) Ltd were all winners in the quarterly prize draw. Entries into the draw were based on their purchases of Maxxis car, van and 4×4 tyres and the winners were presented with their prizes by their local Grouptyre member.
Tyre manufacturer Maxxis organises the Maxxis Rewards programme – now in its second year – in conjunction with Grouptyre, the country’s leading independent tyre wholesaler and exclusive Maxxis distributor in the UK. It is one of a series of initiatives, along with the Maxxis 100 per cent trade press campaign, which has seen Maxxis nominated for the Industry Advertising Campaign Award in the National Tyre Distributors Association’s 2010 Tyre and Fast Fit Awards.
Maxxis Rewards runs until the end of September and any UK-based official Maxxis car tyre stockist is eligible to participate. At the end of the promotion a VIP trip to Shanghai – China’s largest city and the world’s largest cargo port awaits the top 15 retailers. They will be selected on the basis of their total Maxxis tyre purchase turnover between January 1 and September 30 this year.
These retailers will have the privilege of being some of the first to enjoy an exclusive tour of the Maxxis factory in Kunshan, which is one of the biggest tyre manufacturing facilities in the world. This ultra-modern plant, which is capable of producing some 46,000 tyres a day and incorporates a new 4.5km test track, has been developed to support Maxxis International’s growing OE business.
Retailers who register to take part in the Maxxis Rewards programme are automatically entered into the quarterly prize draws. In addition, they can earn Argos vouchers and Maxxis merchandise, including a new range of promotional clothing for their staff. In a special bonus for 2010 a select group of retailers will take part in a unique football challenge, which Liverpool FC is organising on behalf of its Official Partner Maxxis.
“Through…Maxxis Rewards we are aiming to build affinity among independent tyre retailers, so that we can grow the Maxxis Centres of Excellence network, while Maxxis is also keen to acknowledge top performing dealers’ loyalty to the brand. This year’s programme got off to an excellent start and there is a real buzz about the business development opportunities available with Maxxis,” says Grouptyre marketing manager Lucie Dalton.
