Boog Lottridge, Prema President, Dies
William ‘Boog’ Lottridge, longtime president of Prema Canada and a well-known individual in the Canadian tire industry, passed away on 30 July, reports Tire Review. A graduate of both the University of Toronto and Saint Mary’s University. Lottridge began his tyre career with Loomis Root, which he later acquired and served as president. After Stahlgruber acquired Loomis Root/TechCan in 2004, Lottridge continued as president of the company, which had been renamed Prema.
Most recently, Lottridge turned over day-to-day operations and remained with Prema as a consultant. He is survived by his wife and children. A memorial will be held on 4 September at Shadbolt Centre in Burnaby, British Columbia, with a second memorial on 11 September in Hamilton, Ontario.
