B&J Rocket Releases Alu I-Beam
Switzerland’s B&J Rocket Sales AG says its I-Beam spacers have gained a remarkable reputation for durability and reliability in the industry and thus over the years have become a top seller. Thus it comes as no surprise that B&J Rocket has developed the concept further; the company has now introduced the next generation I-Beam spacer, the Alu I-Beam Air spacer. B&J Rocket says this new product provides more cooling and a longer lifetime.
With the new Alu I-Beam Air spacers, B&J Rocket has created a cooling technology for the solid spacers by introducing slots that is says provide a strong and effective ventilation for the buffing head. The company calls the new product ‘the perfect combination’ to pair with other cooling technologies, such as Super Cool refills or Turbo cooling channels, and explains that the Alu I-Beam Air creates a process that not only leads to an improved cool buffing result but also to a significantly longer lifetime of refills without any loss of spacer stability. “We are confident that these new Alu I-Beam Air spacers will quickly become a standard in retreading technology and eventually completely replace existing spacers,” said B&J Rocket managing director Andreas Müller
In other news, at the recent Reifen 2010 exhibition B&J Rocket launched its brand new general catalogue. Over 400 copies of the first edition changed hands during the first three and a half days alone. “With this first complete catalogue each retreader, dealer or distributor worldwide receives identical information on our products and technologies. Technical tips and recommendations will allow each user in the retreading business to get a maximum benefit from our tools,” explained Müller. Along with a second edition for Europe, Asia, Africa and the Pacific regions that is currently in print, B&J is also preparing a version in English and Spanish for the American markets.
