Uniroyal US Tiger Paw Range Extended

In North America the Uniroyal brand belongs to the Michelin product portfolio, and a new high performance tyre released in this market is the Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTZ All Season, which will be launched on July 1. According to Michelin North America, the tyre is engineered to meet the ultra-high performance needs of drivers of sports cars in a range of weather conditions.

“The Uniroyal brand resonates with drivers and is known for trust and longevity,” said Duane Thomas, Uniroyal brand category manager. “Right now, the ultra-high performance all-season category is one of the fastest growing segments of the market. In this economy, drivers are reluctant to purchase high-end tyres, but aren’t willing to sacrifice quality. By offering high quality at an affordable price, we are helping fill that need in the marketplace.”

The Tiger Paw GTZ All Season features Uniroyal’s DuraShield technology, which includes pyramidal steel belts, insulating belt edge strips and a heavy gauge inner liner.  Michelin North America explains that all of these parts help the tyre absorb impact, reduce stress, run cooler and extend belt and tyre life. The Tiger Paw GTZ also features a non-directional tread design, allowing it to be rotated on all sides of the vehicle, providing even wear throughout the life of the tyre. The range is available in 25 sizes and has a Z speed rating.
