SEMA Stays With Car Dealer Day at Show
The 2010 SEMA Show will again feature a targeted programme specifically for auto dealers, says Tire Review. Set for the second day of the show – Wednesday, 3 November, from 8:30am to 1:45pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center – the Dealer Day Conference will be co-sponsored by the National Automobile Dealers Association and the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association.
“The number of dealers attending the SEMA Show continues to grow each year, and during the past two years that we’ve held a dedicated Dealer Day Conference we’ve seen more and more participants express a real interest in incorporating an accessories program into their businesses,” said Chris Kersting, SEMA president and CEO. “We’re excited about the 2010 programme, where dealers will be able to learn how to increase sales and profits through accessories.”
With a focus on helping car dealers establish their own vehicle accessory businesses, the Dealer Day Conference will discuss the “key components of successful accessory programs,” SEMA said. “From integration and the sales process to profit generation, the program provides dealers with practical information and resources that will serve as a catalyst in their daily operations.”
