Rösler Group Celebrates 50th Anniversary in Essen

Rösler Group celebrated the OTR tyre business’ 50th anniversary during the recent Reifen 2010 trade fair. Customers, partner businesses and representatives of companies from around the world came to celebrate with company founder, Paul Roesler, Sr. His sons Paul, Jr. and Martin Rösler who have been guiding the company for the past 20 years were in attendance as were employees from Germany and Australia. And according to the company, its involvement in this year’s Essen show has been “a complete success for the entire Rösler Group.”

The 40.00R57 Schelkmann pre-cured retreaded tyre on show on the Rösler was said to have been the biggest tyre of the entire show. Another of the company’s speciality off road products – a 37.00R57 Schelkmann pre-cured retread with a reported 5,250 hours of field performance – was on display in a bid to demonstrate the quality of Schelkmann precured retreads.

The tyre, which was mounted on a CAT 789 dump truck in Scandinavia, attracted many visitors from around the world and, the company says it was “probably the most photographed item of the entire show.”
