Kumho OE on US Market Fiesta

The all-new 2011 Ford Fiesta is due for its US launch this summer, and Kumho reports that its Solus KH25 will be fitted as original equipment in size P185/60R15. This H-speed rated tyre, the Korean manufacturer states, is engineered to provide high performance grip and handling in all weather conditions while delivering long mileage.

In its 34 years in production, more than 750,000 Fiestas have been sold worldwide. The US version is, unsurprisingly, slightly heavier than its European counterpart, which has been on sale here for about a year. Despite this added weightiness, the US market appears hungry for the small Ford, the first Fiesta to be sold there since 1980. One reviewer, Motherproof.com’s Kristin Varela, enthused that “it has a strong sense of self, a huge personality and its own brand of humour – if only I could find a date as interesting.”
