Kirkby Announces New Additions to Alliance, BKT and Double Coin EM Range
Speke, UK-based wholesaler Kirkby Tyres has announced the latest additions to its earthmover tyre range, including new, larger and more specialist sizes under the Alliance, Double Coin and BKT brands. Alliance has released a new wide-based radial in the 650 design used on Loaders/Dozers and Graders. It is available in sizes ranging from 20.5R25 to 26.5R25, inclusive. Ilan Goldstone commented: “This tyre has been designed with a compound that has exceptional wear and an all-steel casing for superior durability and puncture resistance – it’s a very popular tyre. As well as the tyres we also have off-the-shelf EM wheels, as well as being able to provide bespoke specifications when necessary.”
Also in the Alliance range is the brand new 309 design port tyre, available in either an E3 or L4s/L5s, and in sizes from 12.00-20.00 up to 18.00-25. Goldstone continued: “People trust the Alliance brand, not only for its performance and comprehensive range, but for being able to deliver premium results without breaking the bank.” Completing the additions to the range is the 630 high speed crane tyre in size 16.00R25, which has a special rubber compound designed for low heat build-up and the ability for multi-retreading.
Double Coin is providing Kirkby with stock of two new 49” and 57” radials, which the wholesaler says are being rested and will be released later this year. They are both designed to go on rigid dumpers. The new sizes complement Double Coin’s existing extensive range of OTR tyres from REM 10 (E3) 26.5 and 29.5R25 for Articulated Dumpers and Scrapers to the REM 2 (E3/L3) and REM 18 (L5) 35/65R33, which is used on Loaders/Dozers and Graders. The REM 8 high speed crane tyre “continues to be a big hit due to its durability and competitive pricing,” states Kirkby.
BKT has launched its all steel radial OTR tyres, sub-branded, Earthmax. With this range, BKT becomes “one of the first Indian companies to offer all steel radial OTR tyres”, according to the manufacturer. BKT has also launched other 25” rim diameter tyres in multiple patterns and various compound options to cater for wide-ranging earthmoving applications and varied operating conditions. 33” and 35” rim diameter radial OTR tyres are also currently under development, reports Kirkby. BKT’s crossply E3/L3 Rock, E4 Rock, L4 and L5 smooth radial E3/L4 are also available through the wholesaler.
