Automechanika Sees Industry Strength in Numbers

Automechanika Frankfurt organisers expects a full house of exhibitors for its 2010 return this September 14-19. The biennial international automotive trade fair said the 2010 show will include some 4,400 exhibitors and more than 150,000 attendees.

“You could say that Automechanika Frankfurt has become a fixed star and the whole sector revolves around the dates of the fair,” said Detlef Braun, of organiser Messe Frankfurt GmbH. “We have frequently noticed that companies even orient the life cycles of their products towards the fair so they can present their latest innovations there every two years.”

Organisers said the “high degree of stability despite the difficult economic climate is also the result of the sector’s unequivocal commitment to the fair.”
