Westminster Elects…Vacu-Lug

In keeping with our apolitical but pro-tyre, wheel and association industries position, Tyres & Accessories will not be publishing anything that could influence you vote in today’s general election. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t mention anything to do with what’s going on in Westminster…Whilst the rest of the country goes to the polls, Westminster Council has reportedly “elected” to use Vacu-Lug Tyres to provide its tyre and fleet management needs.

According to the company, the council has one of the most wide ranging fleets of vehicles and equipment in the country to cope with their unique environment in and around the Houses of Parliament and other well known London landmarks. Vacu-Lug’s diverse product range, emphasis on green benefits and “vast experience with council and other complex fleets” is said to have been what made them the outright winner. 

“Whoever gains the keys to Number 10 can be assured that their local council has already made the best choice,” managing director Tim Hercock told T&A.
