PC-Soft Offers fa/r Sighted Retreading Software

German software house PC-Soft has announced plans to show its fa/r software designed for managing retreading processes at June’s Reifen 2010 show. According to the company, PC-Soft designed the comprehensive fa/r system solution specifically for the requirements of the retread industry.

fa/r controls and documents the production of retreaded commercial vehicle tyres, in both cold and hot retreading processes, from the moment casings arrive up to the delivery of the finished tyre. Based on memorised process data, fa/r enables the optimisation of processes within a retreading plant.

In addition fa/r enables centralised process monitoring and extensive functions are designed assure the adaptation of the system to the operative processes of the retreading factory. Production control, the heart of the solution, receives information from the production process in real time. In that way the production manager gets an exact overview of the process anytime. Due to its modularity and scalability in connection with extensive adaptive features, fa/r can be adjusted to different user environments and grows with changing requirements. Many data interfaces assures the communication with existing IT applications (tyre trade), ERP systems of material suppliers and processing machines and lines.
