Online Retailer Says Bridgestone Motorcycle Tyres are Most Popular

Burnley-based online tyre retailer, Fast Tyres Direct has issued a statement suggesting that Bridgestone is having a particularly good season in the motorbike segment, with “88 per cent of [motorbike tyre] sales through the website in the last three months”. The website offers a range of ten motorcycle and car tyre brands, covering all price segments.

Gary Kay of Fast Tyres said: “Quite often our customers call us before placing an order on the website to ask for our advice on which tyres best suit individual motorbikes. However since the start of the motorbike season in 2010 the bulk our calls have related to riders looking for the best Bridgestone tyres.”

“We have discussed in depth why people are choosing the Bridgestone motorcycle tyres ahead of our other stocked brands and the feedback more often than not has been that the tyres have a longer life than other manufacturers and also that on the many windy A-roads in the UK that they offer a grip like no other.”
