New Maxxis PCR Tyres, European Catalogue Debut at Reifen 2010
Tyre manufacturer Maxxis is showcasing a number of new passenger car tyres and launching its new European product catalogue at this year’s Reifen exhibition in Essen, Germany (1 – 4 June). With the focus on wet grip and low rolling resistance, Maxxis will be exhibiting a new passenger car tyre, a new UHP pattern and an addition to its winter tyre range, as well as the new R19, a purpose-designed rally tyre. There will also be a selection of heavy and light truck tyres on display, according to the company.
The European product catalogue runs to 60 pages and incorporates full details on the wide range of Maxxis car, van and 4×4/SUV products available throughout Europe. The design is as a tyre selector ‘swatch’, which offers a built-in capability for the information to be updated, while the catalogue has been produced on Polyart plasticised paper for added durability.
Warren Lin, managing director of international sales at Maxxis, and his team will be on the stand (215, Hall 3) to introduce the new products to Maxxis distributors across Europe and deal with trade enquiries. He will also be apprising distributors of the group’s development plans over the next two to three years.
“Reifen 2010 provides us with an ideal platform to communicate to Maxxis ambassadors [distributors] the concept of the Maxxis Triple 3 System – 100 per cent Service, 100 per cent Quality and 100 per cent Trust – so that they can gain a better understanding of their role, including their future vision, objectives and responsibilities, within the Maxxis family,” said Mr Lin. “Having become a top 10 global tyre manufacturer, Maxxis has reached an important milestone and we therefore feel a greater sense of duty, mission and challenge and are committed to ongoing improvements to grow our share of the market.”
