NDI to Launch New Nordexx Private Brand

Leading Danish tyre wholesale operation, Nordisk Daek Import A-S (NDI), has announced plans to launch a new private brand called Nordexx at the Reifen 2010 exhibition. Talking to Tyres & Accessories, NDI export manager Carsten Andersen explained that the new product range, which is aimed at the passenger car and van markets, will initially be available in 40 popular 13 to 18-inch summer sizes and 20 more aimed at the winter tyre market.

The idea is that Nordexx, which will be produced at an as yet unnamed factory in China, will be sold across Europe through “key dealers” working on an exclusive basis in their respective geographical areas. Key dealers are likely to be appointed in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany and the UK first where NDI currently has wholesale operations in place. However, Andersen also highlighted the fact that the company is also looking to appoint exclusive importers in the other European markets where it doesn’t yet maintain a permanent presence.
