MAI Group Appoints Dynamic as Canadian Dealer

MAI Group, the Italian manufacturer of all-steel, radial OTR tyres for the mining and construction industries, has announced the appointment of the Dynamic Tire Corp. (DTC) as the group’s distributor for Canada. Under the deal, Dynamic Tire will handle MAI's complete Maxam tyre range of OTR and high speed crane products.

In welcoming DTC as the company's latest distributor, MAI Group CEO Ian Thomas said he was "delighted" to have negotiated the deal with DTC founders Peter Koszo and Bob Sherkin and he believes that their local market knowledge will prove invaluable in establishing and strengthening the Maxam brand in Canada.

DTC was established in 1997 and has boasted annual growth rates of 50 per cent in recent years. For three years running, it was named as one of the 50 best-managed companies in Canada and the company says that its success is down to its “relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction.”

MAI Group says customer satisfaction is also at its core, having been operating in the radial OTR tyre sector for more than 55 years. Maxam all-steel radial OTR tyres are reportedly used on every continent in a number of applications, including the mining of diamonds, energy products, gold and minerals. The tyres are manufactured in Europe and China and are distributed throughout the world by some of the aftermarket’s best known service providers; a list that now includes the Dynamic Tire Corp.
