Kwik-Fit Adds Uniroyal to Tyre Range

According to Met Office statistics taken over a three-decade period, the UK on average experiences rain on 154 days of the year, and even during May, allegedly our “driest” month, more than 66mm of rain can be expected to fall. It is little surprise then that Kwik-Fit has decided to add Uniroyal to its tyre line-up. Uniroyal tyres, designed with wet conditions in mind, will be available through all Kwik-Fit outlets and through the company’s website.

“Many drivers have experienced a loss of traction when driving on wet roads, and this usually becomes clear when we need grip the most – either braking or cornering.  However, most motorists are unaware that some tyres are especially designed for wet weather performance,” said Kwik-Fit customer services director David White. “Uniroyal’s tyres are clearly marked with an umbrella logo, to help highlight their capabilities in the rain.  For some drivers, this range will give them both additional grip and extra peace of mind in wet conditions, helping increase road safety in poor weather.”
