GITI Tire UK Appoints Finance Manager

GITI Tire (UK) Ltd. has appointed Ben Ashton as the expanding team’s finance manager. Ashton qualified as a chartered accountant in 2004 then worked as a project accountant for a private finance initiative company managing the finances for two of the largest hospital projects in the UK. After this he became financial controller of a small group of companies before joining GITI Tire in May 2010.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Ben to the team. Based at our Manchester office his financial management responsibilities and scope will include both the UK and German truck tyre businesses. Ben’s knowledge and experience will prove an invaluable asset as the company continues to grow and develop in these two key strategic markets,” managing director Richard Lyons commented.

The latest appointment is the third in quick succession at GITI Tire UK, following regional sales manager Albert Bartlett and passenger car tyre marketing manager Jenny Leeson in April.
