Conti Sime Opens Malacca BestDrive Outlet, Celebrates Dealer’s 70th Anniversary

Chop Swee Hoe and Continental Sime Tyre Sdn. Bhd. (CST) opened a new BestDrive Continental Passenger Car & Light Truck (PLT) Centre in Malacca (the third smallest state in Malaysia) on 23 May, 2010. According to Choong Kee Seng, sales and marketing director of CST, the BestDrive PLT centre empowers partners with the ability to make use of this brand to become positioned as uniform, specialised tyre dealers catering for the premium customer segment. “We have now completed a total of 18 BestDrive Continental PLT centres throughout Malaysia, with the opening being done in stages,” said Choong Kee Seng.

In line with the concept of BestDrive PLT centre, Chop Swee Hoe offers a range of Continental tyres for passenger car and light truck for their customers who demand premium tyres, including ultra high performance vehicle owners, who have more discerning needs, both in terms of product and services. With the Dunlop & Sime Tyres brands complementing, they too have a range of products for all Malaysian motorists. They offer a wide range of services such as wheel alignment, balancing, nitrogen gas as well as tyre-repairing by a team of well-trained and professional specialists using the latest state of the art equipment. Chop Swee Hoe also provides free: satellite TV viewing, wi-fi internet, drinks, 10-point safety and maintenance check, service reminders.

And while this branch is new, the business as a whole is far from beginning. As a third generation tyre retailer, Chop Swee Hoe started business in 1940 in a rented shop lot handling all sorts of tyres. They were upgraded to become a member of the BestDrive Continental Passenger Car & Light Truck (PLT) Centre family earlier this year. This year also marks the company’s 70th anniversary.
