Cleansing Service Group Choose Big D Tyres from Bandvulc
Waste management specialist Cleansing Service Group (CSG), one of the UK waste industry’s fastest growing companies, has been fitting Bandvulc tyres to its fleet “for some months.” CSG engineering manager Mick Arnold commented: “We have been fitting Bandvulc tyres to a number of our vehicles and the ‘BIG D’ tyre is proving to be a good choice, particularly when used on vehicles going to landfill sites. An important bonus is the environmental benefit by fitting retreads rather than newly manufactured tyres.”
CSG operates in a wide variety of waste sectors and runs one of the UK’s biggest waste haulage fleets. The Fareham-based company’s blue chip customer base includes leading supermarket groups, multinational forecourt chains, local authorities and utility companies, and it is the UK leader in the servicing of off-mains domestic drainage systems.
Philip West, group commercial director for Bandvulc added: “As an environmental waste management company CSG’s decision to use retreaded tyres further endorses their green credentials. The tests they have carried out demonstrate that this sustainable option delivers on quality and performance.”
CSG also use Bandvulc Tyre Contracts and its tyre support unit to provide coverage 24/7 in partnership with Barry Shaddick Tyres with whom they have the main service agreement.
