CES Opened 17th Branch This Year
Leading exhaust and catalytic converter distributor CES (UK) Ltd kicked off 2010 with the opening of its 17th branch in Cannock, Staffordshire. According to the company, CES “raised subzero temperatures with a warming welcome to our Cannock customers” at the branch opening on 2 January 2010. The new 10,000 square foot space is said to be “packed with our renowned car parts”.
Local customers were reportedly delighted to be greeted by the CES business development managers informing them of stock and deliveries. They were even more delighted to meet the CES promotional girls delivering hot bacon batches through the January snows – it was the coldest winter for 30 years after all.
“It’s not typical CES style to open a branch with so much glamorous help. We normally let our efficiency speak for itself. However, it was so cold we needed to bring a bit of sunshine to the area. It was certainly well received by our customers but the bacon batches were a very close second in such chilling temperatures” said Andy Buxton, sales manager.
