Infleet Continues Army Benevolent Fund Support
For the last three years Infleet has supported ABF – The Soldiers Charity as its chosen charity. The fleet company, having sponsored a race at the greyhound track in Wolverhampton for several years, recently arranged to exclusively sponsor a particular rave in support of the ABF. The company has also contributed to several other ABF charity events.
Perhaps one reason why the company is particularly keen to support its chosen charity is because Infleet commercial director Chris Comport is also a Colonel in the Territorial Army and he has been associated with the forces for over 35 years.
“Now I am in the twilight of my service it is natural progression to get involved in raising money for such a deserving fund. The call on help from The Soldiers Charity is being stretched more and more because of the recent operational casualties sustained in Iraq and Afghanistan. The charity is aiming to double the amount of money it collects over the next five years,” Comport commented, adding:
“On Monday 12 July we are at Wolverhampton Racecourse where the evening races are all being sponsored by the Soldiers Charity. If anyone is interested in sponsoring a race or taking a table in the restaurant or just a ticket please contact me on 07814 354901. Your support will be extremely welcome.”
