Bosch, Eberspächer Emission Systems JV Commences Operations
The emissions systems joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH, Deutz AG and Eberspächer GmbH & Co. KG commenced operations earlier this month having received the necessary approvals from the EU Commission, according to the companies. In December 2009, the three parties announced their intention to co-operate in reducing exhaust emissions from construction machinery and agricultural vehicles, to satisfy future emission regulations.
The joint venture company, Bosch Emission Systems, will now utilize the core exhaust gas after-treatment competencies of the three companies involved in a bid to offer complete modular system solutions for diesel exhaust-gas after-treatment for off-road construction and agricultural machinery and on-road commercial vehicles.
