Viking Appoints Two New Sales Managers
Viking International has appointed two new sales managers following an operations and sales review within the company. Matt Genese takes on the role of Key Account Manager, responsible for maintaining relationships and maximising opportunities with Viking’s key customer groups, while Richard McCormick has been promoted to the position of Divisional Sales Manager.
Matt Genese has been with the Axle Group for six years, previously working for sister company, National Fleet, in various roles including Commercial Sales Manager and National Account Manager and has an exceptional track record with the company.
Richard McCormick was previously an Area Sales Manager and brings with him a great deal of hands-on experience and excellent sales knowledge. Richard will be responsible for three key accounts as well as Scotland and Gateshead regions.
The two new sales managers’ primary tasks will be building and maintaining existing customer relationships. They will be supported by a full sales team of Area Sales Managers who will focus on extending Viking’s customer base, identifying new business opportunities.
