Viking Appoint New Area Sales Managers
Viking International has welcomed a number of new area sales managers to the company following the restructuring of its sales team. Primarily, the new area sales managers will be field-based; focusing on identifying new business opportunities and relationship building with customers across the country.
Neil Hughes has been appointed to look after Manchester region. Hughes has a great deal of experience having previously worked for Bridgestone, which involved working with dealers and large commercial fleets. Steve Barnes has joined the team in Tonbridge and brings with him a wealth of experience which includes 25 years in the tyre industry most recently working for WJ Wood, part of Group Tyre, as a business development manager, responsible for developing new and existing business with car dealerships.
Marcia Lightwood also joins Tonbridge region. Marcia previously worked for Broadway Tyres as a business development manager within a dealership environment and is keen to put her skills to the test within Viking International.
Finally, James Jobling takes on the role for North East/North West covering Gateshead and Preston. Previous roles include area sales manager for Bridgestone Tyres and Bosal Exhaust Systems.
