European Zeetex Dealers Visits Thailand with S&H Tyres

European dealers of Zeetex brand automotive parts have returned from an all-inclusive trip to Thailand organised by Simon Klapwijk on behalf of S&H Tyres, on which the group visited the factory that produces Zeetex batteries and spent a day at the test track, sampling the new Zeetex HP102 tyre. During a welcome dinner, Klapwijk explained the marketing concept and the expansion of the size range for 2010 in both passenger car and truck and bus segments, opening the European Zeetex Convention 2010.

The group stayed in Bangkok for two days, relaxing at the swimming pool, touring the city tour by bike and boat, visiting various temples and going to the shopping mall. On their second day the group saw the production of Zeetex batteries, which will soon be introduced in Europe. After this, dealers were taken to the Hard Rock Hotel in Pattaya, where they enjoyed a day at the beach, taking in Coral Island by speedboat, a golf tournament, a trip on an elephant through the wilderness, karaoke parties and Thai massages. Next, S&H Tyres hired the circuit of Bira to give its Zeetex dealers the opportunity to see the HP102 in action with slalom, brake and noise tests.

On the last evening a group dinner was organized at a beautiful beach restaurant where winners of the several activities were rewarded with trophies. Besides Klapwijk, John Stehouwer and Peter Klapwijk, both from S&H Tyres were present, giving them the opportunity for networking with the dealers in a relaxed atmosphere.
