Cam Systems Wins 3-Year IT Service Contract with Lodge Tyre
Lodge Tyre Company has signed a three year service level agreement with Cam Systems. The agreement marks the first of Cam’s Commercial Service customers to adopt its EDP Fleet Inspection and Fleet Management software. The package, which Cam calls “class-leading”, will provide Lodge Tyres with an end-to-end commercial solution which caters for inspections (and consequent recommendations), service job completion and ultimately near-real time billing via Cameo. Cam has exclusive distribution rights in the UK for the package.
The new agreement is part of Cam 20:20, which Cam says sets out its aims to serve customers more effectively. This new customer charter also focuses on strategic business consulting through Cam’s Technical Account Services division to help its IT provision meet specified business objectives. The agreement also covers Cameo Support Services. In addition, Lodge will use Cam’s new Document Manager application software – a component of Cam’s .NET re-write programme – alongside Cam’s e-Pen technology, which will meet Lodge’s requirement for improved commercial breakdown processing as well as provide speedier billing.
Martyn Lodge, finance director for Lodge Tyre Company states: “We are investing in our IT with Cam Systems for the long term, as reflected in the three year agreement. We believe Lodge can access real process improvements in the area of commercial service and this will deliver time and cost savings and all-round operational visibility. This will enable us to improve the level of service we can offer our customers and, in turn, help us grow our business.”
Mike Allen, managing director of Cam Systems, adds: “We believe the introduction of some of Cam’s Commercial Service suite – Document Manager, e-Pen for breakdown forms and fleet inspection PDAs – can bring valuable time and cost savings to our clients. We aim to provide Lodge Tyres with a superior software offering and the right service levels for its needs over the next three years and beyond.”
